Baseball great David Ortiz says he is hoping the shooting attack in a Dominican nightclub which left him seriously hurt.

The retired Boston Red Sox slugger advised Univision that he wasn’t involved in anything which would have left him a goal.
He explained:”I don’t have enemies. I don’t understand why anybody would like to do so to me”
Ortiz he wondered if he would survive and known as the moment of the shooting surreal.
The shooter has not been caught along with Ortiz told the Boston Globe that he needs them brought to justice.
“I want to learn who did that,” he said.
“I am not going to sit around and chill if there’s somebody out there who wants to kill me”
Earlier Ortiz made his first public appearance since the shooting, even before the Red Sox played with the New York Yankees when he threw out the first pitch.
Ortiz thanked the fans for their prayers and support.
